It is shown to be a one-component, one-constituent non-woven poly lactic acid (PLA) web. The internet is a great resource for producing tea bags and other infusion beverages. Due of its unique composition and structure, the nonwoven network of PLA fibers in a mono-component, mono-constituent configuration outperforms traditional beverage bags and pouches in terms of infusion, strength, and weight.
